[New Paper Craft] Panzer Dragoon – Blue Dragon Free Papercraft Download on PaperCraftSquare

Panzer Dragoon - Blue Dragon Free Papercraft DownloadThis papercraft is a Blue Dragon (aka Type 01 or Solo Wing Normal Class), a dragon form featured in the Panzer Dragoon games and as an unlockable extra in Panzer Dragoon Orta, the paper model was created by chima. Blue Dragon had a striking dark blue torso wrapped in white armour, with striped wings of light and dark orange.

The Blue Dragon featured a lengthy, white horn that set it apart from other dragon forms in the series. Panzer Dragoon Orta’s encyclopaedia entry on the Blue Dragon describes it as “wrapped in a beautiful white shell” and having “a distinctive long horn, reminiscent of the ramming horns of ancient battleships”. The same encyclopaedia entry states that this dragon was also called “Solowing” without a space. The Blue Dragon was the first form of the Heresy Dragon that players were introduced to and many fans consider it be the definitive appearance of what a Panzer Dragoon dragon looks like.

Panzer Dragoon is a rail shooter video game developed by Team Andromeda and released on the Sega Saturn in 1995; and later released on PC, PlayStation 2, and as a bonus in its sequel Panzer Dragoon Orta for Xbox. The game follows the journey of Keil Fluge, a member of a hunting party who becomes the rider of a powerful blue dragon and joins it on its mission to stop a rival dragon from wreaking havoc on his world.

Panzer Dragoon was one of the few games available at the Sega Saturn’s accelerated, surprise launch. It is the first game in the Panzer Dragoon series, and introduced the series’ gameplay elements and, above all, its original art direction and post-apocalyptic science fantasy universe which gained critical acclaim. It was followed by Panzer Dragoon II Zwei, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Panzer Dragoon Orta.

[New Paper Craft] Dragon Ball – Capsule Free Papercraft Download on PaperCraftSquare

Dragon Ball - Capsule Free Papercraft DownloadThis papercraft is a Capsule (aka Hoi-Poi Capsule and DynoCap), based on the manga / anime series , the paper model was created by Guruh memory. Capsules were created by Dr. Brief of the Capsule Corporation, for the purpose of making objects compact and easy to transport.

Throughout Dragon Ball, numerous objects, from airskis and hovercars, to entire homes, and even organic corpses and house plants, have been seen contained in capsules. The only things that have never been shown in capsules are living sapient organisms.

This single apparent limitation is explored in the Gameboy Advance video game Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II, where an optional side-quest has Gohan tracking down a spy in Capsule Corporation, Newman, who was trying to find the formula that Dr. Brief was using to create these capsules for Pod Corporation, one of Capsule Corporation’s major competitors. Also in this game, the Janitor of Capsule Corporation explains that he used to work as an inventor and once invented a capsule that went inside another capsule, and that the results were catastrophic. This info is also in its sequel Dragon Ball Z: Buu’s Fury, where an Orange Star High School teacher says at the end of his lesson that a capsule should never, ever been put inside another capsule.

Capsules are identified by various classes, one of which is known to be ‘M’. Highly experimental prototypes of capsule appear in The Legacy of Goku II, the Golden Capsules that take the user back to the World Map when used in a city or a wasteland. In the game, Dr. Brief lost 25 of them while he was conducting an atmospheric experiment and asks the Z Fighters to retrieve all of them. Once done, he allows the Z Fighters to keep and use one of the Golden Capsules as many time as they want.

Capsules are distributed by vendors throughout the Earth, although the pricing varies depending on what it contains. It is possible to have an object adapted to turn into a capsule. Capsules are also featured in various Dragon Ball video games as a mean of customizing playable characters. Although capsules are made on Earth by Dr. Brief, in the 2010 Dragon Ball: Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans, Dr. Raichi uses one before Dr. Brief would have been born. It could, however, be possible that capsules were created using similar technology on other planet. [Source: wikia]

[New Paper Craft] Auschwitz Concentration Camp Main Entrance Free Building Paper Model Download on PaperCraftSquare

Auschwitz Concentration Camp Main Entrance Free Building Paper Model DownloadThis building paper model is a Auschwitz Concentration Camp Main Entrance diorama, designed by Papermau. Auschwitz concentration camp was a network of concentration and extermination camps built and operated by the Third Reich in Polish areas annexed by Nazi Germany during World War II. It was the largest of the German concentration camps, consisting of Auschwitz I (the Stammlager or base camp); Auschwitz II–Birkenau (the Vernichtungslager or extermination camp); Auschwitz III–Monowitz, also known as Buna–Monowitz (a labor camp); and 45 satellite camps.

Auschwitz had for a long time been a German name for Oświęcim, the town by and around which the camps were located; the name “Auschwitz” was made the official name again by the Germans after they invaded Poland in September 1939. Birkenau, the German translation of Brzezinka (birch forest), referred originally to a small Polish village that was destroyed by the Germans to make way for the camp.

Auschwitz Concentration Camp Main EntranceAuschwitz II–Birkenau was designated by the Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler, Germany’s Minister of the Interior, as the place of the “final solution of the Jewish question in Europe”. From early 1942 until late 1944, transport trains delivered Jews to the camp’s gas chambers from all over German-occupied Europe. The camp’s first commandant, Rudolf Höss, testified after the war at the Nuremberg Trials that up to three million people had died there (2.5 million gassed, and 500,000 from disease and starvation). Today the accepted figure is 1.3 million, around 90 percent of them Jewish. Others deported to Auschwitz included 150,000 Poles, 23,000 Roma and Sinti, 15,000 Soviet prisoners of war, some 400 Jehovah’s Witnesses and tens of thousands of people of diverse nationalities. Those not killed in the gas chambers died of starvation, forced labor, infectious disease, individual executions, and medical experiments.

On January 27, 1945, Auschwitz was liberated by Soviet troops, a day commemorated around the world as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. In 1947, Poland founded a museum on the site of Auschwitz I and II, which by 2010 had seen 29 million visitors – 1,300,000 annually – pass through the iron gates crowned with the infamous motto, Arbeit macht frei (“work makes you free”).
