[New Paper Craft] RMS-099 Rick Dias Free Gundam Papercraft Download on PaperCraftSquare

RMS-99 Rick Dias Free Gundam Papercraft DownloadThis gundam paper model is a RMS-099 Rick Dias Gundam, a second-generation mass production attack-use mobile suit, featured in the anime series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, the papercraft created by shy0221, and shared by Kevin Chapman.

The Rick Dias was used during many major AEUG missions as the AEUG’s first original and most powerful mass-production mobile suit, making its first known major use during the AEUG’s mission to infiltrate Gryps and steal the new RX-178 Gundam Mk-II. Three Rick Dias mobile suits would be used to infiltrate the colony, led by AEUG ace Quattro Bajeena in his custom painted red Rick Dias. The mission was successful and proved the value of the Rick Dias. For all following missions Rick Dias mobile suits were assigned to the AEUG’s top pilots who did not possess their own custom unit such as the Gundam Mk-II or the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki.

Initially the standard color scheme for the Rick Dias is black and dark gray, with one unit given a custom red on dark red paint job. However; at some point, while the AEUG was on Earth, the standard color scheme was switched over to the same red coloring scheme used on the unit Quattro Bajeena and later Emma Sheen piloted.

Despite being technologically advanced and state of the art at the start of the Gryps Conflict (to the point that the Titans tried to steal some of the Argama’s compliment), the Rick Dias was soon overshadowed by the increasingly more advanced designs in the AEUG and the Titans. By the start of the First Neo Zeon War, there weren’t any operational units left, having been abandoned for more Gundam-like suits.

Developed by Anaheim Electronics the RMS-099 (MSA-099, MSA-009) Rick Dias became one of the first mass-produced mobile suits of the AEUG’s Zeta Project for their fight against the corrupt Titans. Because many engineers who worked on the Rick Dias were former Principality of Zeon members, the Rick Dias featured many similarities to Zeon mobile suits. It not only features a mono-eye sensor but its name is also derived from the MS-09R Rick Dom. The Rick Dias was originally to be called Gundam γ which was due to the fact that the Rick Dias is built out of the new Gundarium γ . This material was developed by Axis and has strength similar to standard Gundarium yet is structurally lighter, making the suit lighter and thus allowing it to accommodate a greater fuel capacity. The Rick Dias was also armed with a great number of weapons and thus became a strong enemy for most of the Titan’s suits.

The Rick Dias is one of the earlier models of mobile suits to use the 360-degree panoramic cockpit, and the first original design to be constructed by the AEUG. One notable feature is that unlike other mobile suits in use at the time, the cockpit of the Rick Dias is built into the head and not the chest of the mobile suit. Built into its hands are specialized launchers that can be used to launch fire-suppressing gas or a binding adhesive.

For combat the Rick Dias is equipped with a large variety of weapons, making it a versatile mobile suit. Among its built-in weapons include a 2-barrel 55mm vulcan phalanx anti-missile gun system built into the head and a beam naginata stored in recharge racks in the backpack. For ranged combat the Rick Dias is equipped with a pair of beam pistols stored in backpack storage racks. It can also be optionally equipped with a clay bazooka, a bazooka that fires a specialized round that breaks into smaller pellets, and a standard beam rifle. [Source: wikia]

  • 2-barrel 55mm Vulcan Phalanx Anti-missile Gun System
A standard armament of the mobile suits in this era. These head mounted shell firing weapons have a high-rate of fire, but have little power and are generally ineffective against mobile suits; however, the vulcan gun can damage lightly armored areas such as the sensors. These weapons are ideal for shooting down small, fast moving, lightly armored targets such as missiles or small vehicles.
  • Beam Naginata
Just like Zeon’s MS-14A Gelgoog, the RMS-099 Rick Dias carries a twin beam sword, sometimes referred to as a “Beam Naginata”. The weapon features a longer than normal handle and a beam emitter at both ends allowing the weapon to create two beam blades simultaneously. This allows the Rick Dias to perform attacks that mobile suits equipped with standard beam sabers cannot, on the other hand the weapon is more dangerous as the pilot must make sure not to accidentally strike his own mobile suit when attacking as the blades face opposite directions. When not in use the twin beam sword is stored in a recharge rack on the back of the waist.
  • Beam Pistols
While most mobile suits feature a single large beam rifle, the Rick Dias instead is equipped with two small beam pistol, which look like the Nazi’s pistol. Despite their small size, the pistols are powerful enough to destroy an enemy unit with a single shot. If not in use, the pistols are mounted on the backpack of the unit.
  • AE/ZIM.C-BAZ-531 Clay Bazooka
Unlike normal bazookas, the Clay Bazooka is a large rocket launcher it could fire several missiles that that breaks into smaller pellets to attack targets at long range. While not powerful as other models, it can takes a mobile suit with one shot. Most oftenly used to take out slow, heavily armored targets.
  • Beam Rifle
A standard hand carried ranged beam weapon is the beam rifle. Capable of firing concentrated mega particles, attacks from a beam rifle are can damage any ordinary armor that has not be specially treated to resist it. Like all beam rifle of this era, Rick Dias’s model is powered by a replaceable E-cap.

Special Equipment & Features

  • “Random Binder” Ejectable External Propellant Tank
To increase the Rick Dias’s combat time, the AEUG created a propellant that carries extra fuel. This kind of propellant was modified after MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki‘s wing binders, in order to further Rick Dias’s agility.
  • Arm-equipped Flare Launchers
A gun mounts on the Rick Dias’s arm. It used to distract enemies, or as a signalling tool.

[New Paper Craft] MS-21C Dra-C Free Gundam Papercraft Download on PaperCraftSquare

MS-21C Dra-C Free Gundam Papercraft DownloadThis gundam paper model is a MS-21C Dra-C, a mass produced space attack mobile suit, featured in the OAV Series Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, the papercraft created by Louyt, and shared by Kevin Chapman. MS-21C Dra-C is later featured in the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam movies in a grey color scheme used by Axis Zeon, and then in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, where it is recolored purple and used by the Neo Zeon remnants.

After the end of the One Year War many of the Zeon remnants that refused to let the war end in anything less than victory retreated from the Earth Sphere and went into hiding. While in exile these renegade fleets were slowly building up their forces, plotting to renew their conflict against the Earth Federation.

One of these rogue Zeon fleets was the Delaz Fleet, and to bolster their military strength they built new mobile suits using what scrap parts they had available. The result was the MS-21C Dra-C, a space-only fast-interception attack use mobile suit. The Dra-C was built out of parts from old Gattle fighter-bombers with the torso and arms borrowed from the MS-06F2 Zaku II F2 Type.

In UC 0096, Dra-C units were deployed by the “The Sleeves” to defend the Palau asteroid from the attacking Earth Federation forces. The Dra-C unit operated by The Sleeves were repainted in a new color scheme, given a more powerful gatling gun in place of the 40-mm vulcan, and finally given the distinctive markings featured on many of the mobile suits used by The Sleeves. Despite the upgrade in the Dra-C’s armaments, the outdated Dra-C units performed poorly and suffered heavily in combat against the more advanced and modern mobile suits of the Earth Federation.

Interestingly, the Dra-C was not equipped with an AMBAC system, and also lacked the legs a standard mobile suit featured. Instead, the Dra-C mounted two long slim propellant tanks in their place to extend the units range and operating duration. Instead, it relied on its primary thrusters and the verniers in the twin shoulder-mounted pods to control its attitude during space flight. The Dra-C was also lightly armed, with only a 40mm vulcan gun mounted in place of the right fore-arm and a beam saber attached to the bottom of the small shield over the left arm. The 40-mm vulcan could also be replaced with a gatling gun for increased firepower. [Source: wikia]

  • 3-Barrel 40mm Vulcan Gun
This weapon is unique to the Dra-C, as vulcans aren’t usually in the form of wielded guns.
  • Shield
Mounted on the Dra-C’s shield is a beam saber that could be deployed at any time. Made from leftover battleship plating, the shield incorporates a small generator and e-cap system with a cooling unit since the suit’s own generator is insufficient for beam weaponry.
  • Beam Saber
  • Mega Gatling Gun
The 40mm vulcan gun for the Dra-C’s forearm could be replaced with a more powerful gatling gun for increased firepower against more advanced moblie suits. Used on the Dra-C units deployed by The Sleeves.

[New Paper Craft] RX-78GP03 Gundam “Dendrobium” Free Paper Model Download on PaperCraftSquare

RX-78GP03 Gundam "Dendrobium" Free Paper Model DownloadThis gundam paper model is RX-78GP03 Gundam “Dendrobium”, the third unit of the Gundam Development Project, as the combination of both the mobile suit unit – the RX-78GP03S Gundam “Dendrobium Stamen” – and its massive unmanned support unit – the Armed Base Mobile Container “Dendrobium Orchis”, featured in the OVA series Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, and piloted by Anaheim test pilot Defrah Kar and Federation MS pilot Kou Uraki, the papercraft created by Kyuri, and shared by Kevin Chapman.

The RX-78GP03 Gundam “Dendrobium” was the third unit built as part of the Gundam Development Project. Unlike the first two the Dendrobium was never brought down to Earth, instead remaining in space aboard the La Vie en Rose under the supervision of Earth Federation Forces security officer Nakohha Nakato and Anaheim Electronics systems engineer Lucette Audevie. After the Delaz Fleet used a nuclear warhead to destroy a third of the Federation forces at Konpei Island for the naval review, and the subsequent mutual destruction of both the “Zephyranthes” and “Physalis”, the Albion (MSC-07) docked at the La Vie en Rose for resupply and repairs. During that time both captain Eiphar Synapse and pilot Kou Uraki argued that they should be given the “Orchis” and “Stamen” components so that they could continue their pursuit of Gato. However Nakoha Nakato would not allow them to take the mobile weapon. Lucette Audevie, who was in charge of the “Dendrobium’s” construction and development, helped the crew of the Albion to steal the mobile weapon at the cost of her own life.

While it was designed for defensive use, pilot Kou Uraki would use the “Dendrobium” offensively in a series of devastating hit and run attacks against the Delaz Fleet, returning to the Albion (the ship and the rest of its mobile suits staying to the rear away from combat) to be resupplied. With its large amount of missile ordnance, the “Dendrobium” made for a dangerous opponent for Gato’s AMA-002 Neue Ziel which relied on its I-Field generator for most of its defense. Both machines were heavily damaged after their last confrontation outside of the colony the Delaz Fleet was dropping on North America, but only pilot Kou Uraki survived.

As described in the MG model manual and MS encyclopedia, while the initial two designs of the Gundam Development Project were specifically designed for an offensive role, the Earth Federation Forces also needed a design for territorial defense in space, also known as Area Dominance tactic. In the Area Dominance Tactic, the battalion group will be small, may be even just a single unit, but need to be able to hold on to that region and fight against numerous enemies with a vast amount of firepower. Furthermore, if it’s a single unit, it needs to be able to move around a large area of space rapidly to defend all the incoming enemies. Since the Earth Federation forces were interested in the power of mobile armours deployed by Zeon forces during the One Year War, they had specifically ordered the unit to be a model using mobile armour technology. The result of this was the massive “Dendrobium” mobile weapon. It was not a mobile armour but an unmanned unit composed of a mobile suit, the Stamen, and its add on, the “Orchis”.

Developed at the Von Braun city facility and field tested at Anaheim Electronics’ La Vie en Rose orbital manufacturing plant, the GP03 Dendrobium was designed to have exceptional firepower and mobility with minimal use of manpower. Two large weapons racks containing sixteen weapon containers sat on the top of the GP03, enabling the pilot to engage in extended firefights without running out of ammunition. The containers were interchangeable and were able to carry different weapons. Extendable large claws mounted with large beam sabres were mounted on both sides of the underbelly of the unit. A warship class mega beam cannon was mounted on the right, while an I-field generator was mounted on left. The control unit for the Dendrobium was the RX-78GP03S Dendrobium Stamen, which was the mobile suit itself. In cases of emergency or severe damage to the “Orchis”, the “Stamen” could eject from the mobile armor portion. [Source: wikia]

  • Weapons Containers
Primarily used for clearing out massive quantities of enemy units, the Orchis was armed with two weapons containers with 8 sets of missiles per container. These containers are able to carry additional beam rifles, bazookas, or even a spare shield for the Stamen unit if needed, a set of chain mines, and 3-tube missile launchers and sets of 108-tube micromissile launchers are also included.
  • Large Beam Cannon
A battleship grade beam cannon installed on the Orchis’ right side. It has an extra handle for additional manuverability.
  • Large Claw
The Orchis has two large claws on its underside in case of enemy units penetrating its I-Field. The claws can be used as grappling weapons. For extra defense in close combat, the claws come equipped with two large beam sabers.

[New Paper Craft] GN-002 Gundam Dynames Free Paper Model Download on PaperCraftSquare

GN-002 Gundam Dynames Free Paper Model DownloadThis gundam paper model is a GN-002 Gundam Dynames (aka Gundam Dynames, Dynames), the long-range specialist Gundam in season one of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and piloted by Lockon Stratos, the papercraft created by Kyuri, and shared by Kevin Chapman. Gundam Dynames would later be redeveloped as GN-002RE Gundam Dynames Repair in A.D. 2314, briefly piloted by the second Lockon Stratos.

In AD 2308, the heavily damaged Dynames and its GN Drive were shown to be carried to the CBS-70 Ptolemaios after Haro followed Lockon’s final order. Dynames was then placed upon an Assault Container where it was eventually carried from danger away from the Ptolemaios. In AD 2314, the Dynames was once again repaired into the GN-002RE Gundam Dynames Repair. The newly repaired Dynames was used briefly by Lyle Dylandy.

Classified as a third generation Gundam, the GN-002 Gundam Dynames is a artillery-type MS that specializes in long-ranged sniping and the successor of GNY-002 Gundam Sadalsuud and the predecessor of GN-006 Cherudim Gundam. While the unit retains similarities to Sadalsuud, Dynames is different than its predecessor.

Dynames retains strong design aesthetics to Sadalsuud, almost twin-like superficially. However, Sadalsuud wasn’t designed for advanced combat, it was designed for infiltration and scouting. Although Dynames inherited its sensor technology through Sadalsuud, the majority of the sensors were removed and replaced with armor plating and weaponry during its creation. Ironically, Sadalsuud can search and detect targets of interest far beyond what Dynames can do. To compensate for sensory limitations, Veda and Celestial Being’s CIC team provides tactical data through their own systems to support Dynames in combat.

Dynames is largely a counterpart to GN-001 Gundam Exia. While Exia is themed heavily on melee combat, Dynames is the opposite. Dynames’ weapon-of-choice is its GN Sniper Rifle to provide mid-to-long ranged fire support. As its primary armament, Dynames is almost exclusively used as a support sniper, taking up a well-hidden position and dispatching targets from afar while Exia draws the attention and fire of the enemies. If forced into short-ranged combat, Dynames switches from the rifle to its GN Pistols, wielded and used gun-kata style. In very short range, Dynames prefers to use its GN Missiles, using its beam sabers only as a last resort. While Dynames is focused on sniping, the unit was also designed to utilize a series of special equipment to adapt to various missions.

For specialized long range precision firing, Dynames has a special particle rifle, which it is capable of firing on orbital targets from the ground, the Super Substratospheric Altitude Gun. To prepare for shooting alone, the pilot needs to connect the weapon to a large GN Condenser and network with other computer systems to make the necessary calculations for accurate shooting. Because the blast is very powerful, Dynames’ rear is connected to one of Kyrios’ Tail Unit as a stabilizer to absorb the shock of the discharge. It takes roughly 30 seconds to recharge for the next shot.

Dynames can change equipment for the Torpedo Pack. The equipment is specialized for surface-to-underwater assault missions. To enhance Dynames’ sensors, a sonar system and goggles are equipped for extended sensory capabilities underwater. The sniper rifle is replaced with a torpedo launcher as particle weapons are weakened in water.

When extreme firepower and defense is needed, Dynames can receive combat support from its own specialized support unit, the GNR-001D GN Arms Type-D and the Assault Container. The GN Arms itself is a customized transformable fighter, with mid-range beam weaponry and melee weapons themed after Dynames’ weapons silhouette. When greater power is needed, Dynames and GN Arms can combine to become a mobile armor. Dynames’ GN Drive docks right into the MA to power the weapons platform.

The Assault Container works in conjunction with the GN Arms and Dynames as a miniature armed MS carrier. It was designed to dock both Dynames and GN Arms for atmospheric entry and exit missions. It’s heavily armored and has enough fire power to decently fight a United Nation Army battlefleet. Dynames’ overall capabilities can be enhanced through the power of Trans-Am.

Dynames would later be succeeded by GN-006 Cherudim Gundam. While Dynames itself was critically damaged in combat, there was still spare replacement parts to rebuild Dynames. Due to Celestial Being being short on resources, engineers would later return to Dynames for a systems overhaul to modernize its systems and combat capabilities; it was categorized as GN-002RE Gundam Dynames Repair. [Source: wikia]

  • GN Beam Pistol
While the GN Sniper Rifle can fire at very long ranges, it is an unwieldy weapon to use in firefights in urban environments or in high-speed melee battles. Dynames is armed with two GN Pistols to offset this. Lockon dual-wields these pistols using gun-kata, dodging enemy melee attacks before responding with well-placed shots at close range. While they have a high rate of fire, they possess less power than standard GN Beam Rifles. During the testing stages, they will burn out after certain usage, thus up to six extra pairs can be equipped for prolonged close combat capability. The problem has since been fixed and the extra pairs are no longer needed.
  • GN Beam Sabers
For close range combat, Dynames carries two GN Beam Sabers on its rear waist armor. They are rarely used, as Lockon prefers to engage enemy units over long distances, using the GN Pistols when forced into close and mid-range combat situations. Due to excellent test results of the GN Pistols, Lockon asked Ian to remove them from Dynames but was rejected. He would then bet with Ian that he will never use them. Analysis in the future during the development of Cherudim Gundam would reveal that the Dynames’ frame was not suitable for using them, so they were discontinued from it’s successors.
  • GN Missile Launcher
A total of 24 GN Missile Launchers are mounted on the Dynames, with 16 located on the front skirt armor and 4 located on either knee. They fire GN Missiles, which are used for destroying large targets like space vessels or for rapidly neutralizing or destroying large groups of enemies.
  • GN Sniper Rifle
A long-barreled particle rifle, the GN Sniper Rifle is Dynames’ primary armament. Due to the abundant energy provided by the GN Drive, the Sniper Rifle may be used multiple times in succession, and unlike most beam weaponry it does not suffer much loss of beam cohesion in atmosphere, allowing it to be used against even very high-altitude targets. The Rifle may be detached and mounted on a bipod, but is usually secured to the right rotatable shoulder dock. An optional scope may be attached above the barrel.
  • Super Substratospheric Altitude Gun
A special weapon designed for use in sniping orbital targets from the surface of the Earth. It is a massive version of the Dynames’ GN Sniper Rifle that requires stabilizing equipment for Dynames to simply aim the weapon. The massive gun is connected via cables to a separate GN Condenser unit nearby where a large amount of it’s particles come from. Its extreme size and weight require Dynames to be completely stationary when firing, as the weapon also possesses massive recoil. Though the weapon is powerful, it is rarely used, as this rifle is one of the most fearsomely powerful weapons of the Dynames, and one of the most powerful weapons developed by Celestial Being for its four Gundams.

System Features

  • GN Full Shield
The GN Full Shield consists of two large E-Carbon-made GN Shields. Although Dynames has its own standard GN Shield, Lockon still had to manually evade attacks. The GN Full Shield can fully protect Dynames although the movement of Dynames is limited. The sliding shields would switch in between forward, side, and backwards to efficiently defend Dynames while attacking. Haro have autonomous control over the GN Full Shield to protect the well being of both pilot and Gundam. The system is semi-automatic as the pilot has the ability to switch to manual control if necessary. GN Particles are applied both to decrease the weight of the shield as well as deploying GN Fields on the outer surface for protection.
  • Sniper Mode
Sniper Mode is a feature when the pilot focuses on sniping and has Haro manage Dynames’ peripheral systems. The forward crown would lower and cover the primary optics and a large mono-ocular sensor exposes at the forehead for enhanced image targeting. As the pilot focus on sniping enemy units, Haro would take overall control of Dynames to evade and respond to the pilot’s voice commands for tactical maneuvers and/or system adjustments/calibrations.
  • Trans-Am System
A hidden system with Dynames’ GN Drive. When activated, the GN Drive maximizes GN particle output. Condensed GN particles saturate Dynames’ MS frame, giving it a pink-reddish hue. Trans-Am grants Dynames three times the strength, speed, and firepower. The full capabilities of Trans-Am is unclear as Dynames was the only Gundam that never once executed Trans-Am, except in the special edition of .

[New Paper Craft] Five Star Stories – LED Mirage Free Mecha Papercraft Download on PaperCraftSquare

Five Star Stories - LED Mirage Free Mecha Papercraft DownloadThis paper model is the LED Mirage, the AKD’s main heavy combat mortar headd deployed by the Mirage Knights on orders from Amaterasu or an appropriate AKD commander (Rognar, Aisha Codante or Iemarah Lout Jajas), based on the manga / film / game series Five Star Stories, the papercraft was designed by One Piece, and shared by Kevin Chapman. The LED represents the pinnacle of modern mortar headd design and function. Its armament is a testament to the genius of Amaterasu as a MH meight. It is loaded to the brim with anti-MH weaponry of every sort, including lasers, missiles, grenades, plasma weaponry as well as the customary cutlery that comes equipped on most of the galaxy’s Electric Knights.

The “main weapon” mounted upon the LED Mirage is known as the Laser Cutter, which is mounted permanently to the LED’s forehead region. This state-of-the-art heat-blade taps directly into the energy supply so when it is charged, it uses nearly all of the LED’s monstrous power output to pour damage into an enemy unit. It is capable of slicing enemy mortar headds in half as easily as a chef slices tomatoes.

The LED’s 150mm grenade launchers mounted on the arms can be armed with anti-aircraft missiles as well as the anti-armor grenades. The Air Buster can cause seismic disturbances in the surrounding battlefield and is useful for taking out large contingents of ground troops and equipments and leveling urban environments.

The LED Mirage’s veil hides a host of hidden weaponry as well. The main weapon attached to the veil are its pincher-style metrotekchrome Nail, which is capable of capturing or cutting an enemy MH unit in half. It fold back behind the veil completely and snaps forward to envelope an enemy unit by surprise. The veil also holds various missile launchers and laser cannons, as well as a large caliber anti-armor cannon used for Anti-MH roles.

The LED is also capable of mounting many optional weapons, including a particularly nasty weapon known as the Flame Launcher. This weapon is so devastating, that it is only used when authorized by the emperor himself! The Flame Launcher uses a fuel source known as “Liquid R” which burns much hotter than Napalm. Additionally, LED Mirage units can mount the Biralkema laser machinegun unit which is standard equipment on the Rouge Mirage. Thus, a LED Mirage can double as artillery support for a Jagd Mirage or support ground troops if the accompanying Rouge Mirage is heavily damaged.

The LED Mirage also has a plethora of optional equipment which can be attached to suit a particular situation. The Boomerang unit gives the LED Mirage full atmospheric flight capability at supersonic speeds. The Luna Unit is basically for space flight, and allows the LED Mirage to become interstellar capable attack unit. The Double Veil mounts to the LED’s back and works similar in fashion to the Jagd Mirage and Atoll Swans active veil systems. The LED can also mount a Buster Launcher. This system is comprised of the launcher itself and the power supply unit which attaches to the LED’s back. Without the supply unit, the LED would have to use its own engine to power the launcher which would deprive the MH of maneuvering power, which is death to a MH on the field of battle!

Amaterasu developed the LED Mirage as the replacement for the FEMC’s Horned Mirage mortar headd. The Mirage Knights had managed to use up the entire fleet of Horned Mirages by J.C. 2980. Amaterasu use the Horned Mirage as a basis for his LED design, and managed to both miniaturize and enhance the Ezlazer engine to produce astronomical levels of energy. The resultant engine was small enough to place in the LED’s calves leaving more room in the torso to include even more generators and servos to produce additional power. The end resulted in a MH with twice the power output of standard mortar headds.

The LED Mirage is considered the most powerful MH in the galaxy. A lot of hype has gone into this reputation, mainly to intimidate opponents before a battle. Even though it is the star MH of the saga, it makes only 8 battlefield appearances in the history of Joker.

[New Paper Craft] Five Star Stories – Knight of Gold Free Mecha Papercraft Download on PaperCraftSquare

Five Star Stories - Knight of Gold Free Mecha Papercraft DownloadThis paper model is the Knight of Gold, based on the manga / film / game series Five Star Stories, the papercraft was designed by One Piece, and shared by Kevin Chapman. An unusual feature about the Knight of Gold is the fact that it carries no veil into battle. It is rare for mortar headds to be deployed without veils, as a mortar headd that cannot mount a defense against other mortar headd units is usually dead meat. However, the Knight of Gold charges into battle without a shield to show its prowess. Note: While the Knight of Gold may go sheildless it is not defenseless. The arm guards are dense enough to repel laser ordinance and spaads and speids as well, thus in a pinch it can use this as a last line of defense if necessary.

The Knight of Gold was Amaterasu’s third attempt at creating the “ultimate mortar headd” and it is the test-bed for the technology that goes into the new and improved Mirage Fleet of the 3000’s. As such, it is a very complex machine and is prone to operational break-downs from time to time. Even when it is operational, it is oftentimes glitchy and difficult to control, thus only top-of-the-line fatima models such as Lachesis, Atropos and Est are capable of unleashing its full potential.

Ladios Sop created the Knight of Gold in response to a request by Lachesis before she underwent her final programming cycle. At that time, she decided that she wanted Sop for her master and that she wanted him to create a shining mortar headd made of gold so they could get “married” beneath it. Amaterasu decided to grant Lachesis her request and dubbed his 3rd masterpiece the Knight of Gold.

The Knight of Gold will continue on through the ages, travelling with Lachesis throughout the dimensions, finaly to deliver her daughter, Kallen to U.R.I. in the Taika universe. Its tasks complete, the Knight of Gold finds rest beyond 7777… [Source: gearsonline]
