[New Paper Craft] Total Annihilation – Core Slasher and Leveler Free Paper Models Download on PaperCraftSquare

Total Annihilation - Core Slasher and Leveler Free Paper Models DownloadHere are two tank paper models, Core Slasher and Leveler, based on the video game Total Annihilation, the paper model created by TApapercraft. The Slasher is a level 1 missile vehicle that functions primarily as an anti-air unit; it is not particularly well armoured and its weapon doesn’t do much damage to ground units, but the range of the weapon allows it to fire from the back line and protect other units from incoming enemy aircraft. Its ARM counterpart is the Samson.

The Slasher provides more AA firepower than a Crasher Kbot. One or two Slashers are capable of defending a large base from aerial assaults. Slashers are also good at defending your moving units from enemy gunships.

Total Annihilation Leveler Paper ModelThe Leveler is a level 1 tank that differs from other tanks; the unit has a short ranged weapon that deals more damage than some level 2 units, but it has very little armour and poor speeds, making it a high risk but high reward type of unit to send into battle. It has no ARM counterpart.

The name consists of a “D” for the four sets of driving wheels and the class number 51 for tender locomotives that the numbers 50 through 99 were assigned to under the 1928 locomotive classification rule.

The design of Class D51 was based on the earlier Class D50, which was introduced in 1923. Wartime production featured some substitution of wood for steel parts like running boards, smoke deflectors and tender coal bunkers. A total of 1,115 D51 locomotives were built, the largest number of locomotives in a single class in Japan. Early D51s built were known as “Namekuji type” (slug). The Class D51 is popularly called “Degoichi” in Japanese.

The specially built D51s that were left on Sakhalin (formerly Karafuto) by the retreating Japanese at the end of World War II were used until 1979 by Soviet Railways. One was left outside Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk railway station, and one is in running condition and is kept at the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk railway station. [New Paper Craft] Okami – Ninetails Cube Craft Free Paper Toy Download on PaperCraftSquare

Okami - Ninetails Cube Craft Free Paper Toy DownloadThis cube craft paper toy is Ninetails, a large, powerful, nine-tailed kitsune who rules Oni Island and is one of the major antagonists of the video game and , the papercraft created by scarykurt.

As well as being based off the Kitsune, the storyline involving Ninetails is similar to the Japanese tale of Tamamo-no-Mae. This tells the story of the Japanese noblewoman Tamamo-no-Mae who was the most intelligent and beautiful woman in all the country. Although she was only twenty years old, she had a wealth of knowledge on every subject and there was nothing she could not answer. She always had a mysteriously wonderful fragrance and her clothes were always pristine. However Tamamo-no-Mae was in fact a Kitsune and she was making the Emperor sick in a plot to steal his throne. This is much like the mysterious green mist plaguing Sei’an City that would have killed the Emperor if it was not for Amaterasu and Issun. Luckily that even though she made an escape, she was captured and put to death.

Ninetails is an evil Kitsune who is the fifth boss you will meet in this game. She is the ruler of Oni Island which can be found off Ryoshima Coast, thus making her the boss of this game segment. She is also referred to as “The Dark Lord” and “Demon Lord Ninetails”. Ninetails is the character that reveals the existence of Yami, a being of ultimate evil. Ninetails is very like Amaterasu in the fact that she, too, can use Brush Techniques which is an added difficulty when fighting her as she can even use techniques Amaterasu has not learned yet. Ninetails can also harness the power of electricity as she fights with the Ninestrike Glaive and Oni Island is rife with lightning. Her glaive has a Celestial Brush on the bottom of the hilt.

As stated, Ninetails is a nine-tailed kitsune with fur of a golden color and nine tails. Each of its long tails ends with a brush-like tip dipped in red ink and hoods with masks just below the brushes. The central tail, which houses Ninetail’s true form, also has a necklace of red beads around the mask. Ninetails wears a white mask with red markings, as a mockery of Amaterasu’s divine appearance. However, when all of Ninetails’ tails are destroyed but the central one, then the demonic kitsune is revealed to be a mere old and beaten up fox with a single tail and a lost eye.

In battle, Ninetails uses Ninestrike, the seemingly dark copy of Seven Strike, and other fighting techniques that are copies of Amaterasu’s abilities, as a mockery of her. Ninetails can perform a charging headbutt across the arena, submerging its tails into the ground and following Amaterasu then spear her from below, raising its tails and spraying a toxic liquid, charging Ninestrike with dark energy before delivering a devastating slash, rapid slashes and stab with the Dark Instrument, and last but not least, using the Celestial Brush with the techniques of Galestorm, Cherry bomb and Icestorm. [New Paper Craft] Okami – Waka Cube Craft Free Paper Toy Download on PaperCraftSquare

Okami - Waka Cube Craft Free Paper Toy DownloadThis cube craft paper toy is Waka, shrouded in mystery right until the end of the game even though he appears many times in the video game , the papercraft created by scarykurt. Waka confronts Amaterasu and Issun many times giving them confusing and cryptic hints about future events, however in hindsight these hints are quite helpful. He interferers with many of Amaterasu plans and often appears at very awkward moments. He considers himself to be the Guardian of Moon Cave as well as being a self proclaimed prophet.

Waka is based on the historical character “Minamoto no Yoshitsune”, who in his childhood was called Ushiwakamaru. Minamoto no Yoshitsune was depicted as a sort of Robin Hood who was excellently trained in the way of the sword. His main companion was “Saitō Musashibō Benkei”, who’s character also appears in Okami as Benkei the Warrior Monk.

He carries a Katana Sword and a flute which he can transform into a blinding fast sword called Pillowtalk. He can teleport and use the giant wings on his helmet to fly. Along with this he appears to be able to perform extreme feats of martial arts, the kind of which a human could only imagine doing and he can sustain lots of damage. He uses all this to pick fights with Amaterasu as he is testing her power. His choice of footwear makes him appear quite easy to knock over however this is not the case.

Waka appears to be somewhat flashy. He wears a bright pink kimono and purple Sashinuki-hakama, which along with his headdress, consisting of a hawk-head with a long flowing cloak. Beneath his headdress is the long golden hair of the Moon Tribe. He also wears tabi socks and tall “platform” geta with single tooth; this would appear to make him easy to knock down, but Waka moves more skillfully than he lets on. He constantly carries a flute with him that is actually the disguised form of his sword Pillow Talk. He also has a second sword in a scabbard at his side, which he uses in conjunction with Pillow Talk.

His appearance echoes that of the Japanese Tengu-bird like mythical beasts that were said to be very skilled in swordplay. His headgear is the shape of a tengu, and also features the typical tengu cap. The geta sandals are actually called “tengu-geta”, as tengu were believed to wear geta with one “tooth” in the middle. Waka’s clothes are that of a yamabushi, the mountain ascetics followers of the syncrethic Shugendō creed. In reference to this, tengu are often depicted dressing yamabushi dress.

No matter the situation, Waka never shows any signs of being upset or fearful, a habit that annoys Issun constantly. Also annoying to Amaterasu’s companion is Waka’s habit of rarely being direct; he prefers vague hints that he calls “prophecies” over straight information. His advice is always helpful, though it is sometimes observed to be so only in hindsight.

Waka also has a great deal of playfulness to his personality; even when he is taking things seriously, he refers to it in a light-hearted manner. This is evident in his prophecies, which usually contain some humorous action or phrase. He often peppers his speech with French expressions of affection, such as “mon amie” and “ma chérie“. In the original Japanese version, Waka uses English expressions.

Even though Waka mocks Amaterasu many times throughout the course of the game, it is quite clear that he has a great amount of respect and trust for her. It can be said that there is a certain bond between the two, as Waka mentioned that they “fought Orochi side by side”.

Waka does not reappear in Okamiden however, sometime between the events of Okami and Okamiden, Waka created Kurow. Kurow was created by Waka to be a vessel that Akuro could not possess and control. It can be assumed that Waka’s powers of prophecy enabled him to see what was going to happen and this compelled him to create Kurow. Kurow who is modelled heavily off himself both in physical appearance and personality-wise. He entrusted Kurow with a Moon Tribe pendant and sent him in a meteor from the Celestial Plain. By instilling Kurow with independent thoughts and feelings, Waka ensured that Kurow was not simply following his fate blindly upon sacrificing himself to destroy Akuro.

He is seen briefly in a vision experienced by Nanami and Chibiterasu when they touch the Knowing Orb in Sage Shrine. He is also mentioned in Journals Manifest in the Moon Tribe Ruins. They note that his pendant is similar to Sugawara’s crest. [Source: neoseeker]
